Admissions

Educating for life – Ad vitam educatio

APPLICATIONS

The following steps are required for a fast and efficient application process. Please ensure that the following accompanies each Application Form when returning it to the school:

  • A copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • A copy of both parents ID documents
  • Copies of the student’s latest school report
  • Financial statement from current or previous school
  • Reports of any medical conditions or Therapist reports
  • 2 x ID Photos
  • Admission to the school is subject to available space and curriculum compatibility. Should we be unable to assist you, we will notify you in writing. Alternatively, we will contact you to arrange an interview.
  • The presence of both parents and the student is required at the interview except under special circumstances that must have been agreed to by prior arrangement with the school.
  • The school will notify you of the outcome of your interview in writing. Should your application be successful, your letter of acceptance will be followed by an information pack including details such as uniform and term dates for the year.
  • Gracehill College is a fee-paying school and is thus dependent on families fulfilling their monthly financial obligations to the school. Successful applicants are required to sign a commitment to the school’s financial policy. The relevant school fee structure is included in your Application Pack.
  • Once you have received your preliminary letter of acceptance, a non-refundable, once-off Admission & Application fee, together with the annual Book & Stationery fee and the annual IT & Printing Levy, is payable upfront per student. This payment secures the learner’s place in the relevant grade.

  • The above fees include stationery per leaner. Stationery will need to be replenished during the year at the parents expense. Please refer to the relevant fee structure for pricing.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. We, at Gracehill College, believe that “every good gift of knowledge and insight come from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17.

We trust in our Heavenly Father to nurture and equip our children, through a thoroughly researched curriculum and feast of ideas. We strive for an education that is far deeper than mere exams and tests – an education that impacts lives and echoes into eternity
